CHARITABLE WORK

My lifelong commitment to the City extends well beyond business, as I have always believed that leadership should also deliver tangible benefits to the community. My commitment to charitable work spans decades and reflects a deep sense of civic responsibility. Giving back is not just about supporting causes; it is about creating sustainable, meaningful impact in the City of London.

My charitable contribution was recognised recently when I met Princess Anne at a reception at Wembley Stadium as a finalist for the 2025 Patrons Award.

Key Initiatives

Over the years, I have led a number of charitable projects, bringing practical solutions to urgent needs:

FoodDrop Project

Over the past two years, this initiative has redistributed more than 2.5 million free meals across London to those in need, demonstrating how collaboration between businesses and charities can deliver real social impact.

City Prostate Cancer Awareness & Screening Programme

  • I helped restart this programme in 2024 after it had been dormant for many years. It provides subsidised screenings and raises awareness of men’s health issues in the Square Mile. The next screening is scheduled for 17th of April 2026 at Draper’s Hall Men- please save the date and register for further details at no cost….Pre-registration Form

Lord Mayor’s Appeal and Sheriffs’ Recorders Fund

I have supported fundraising initiatives through creative projects, such as organising a red double-decker bus for the Lord Mayor’s Show in 2024. This high-profile initiative raised both funds and awareness and was featured on the BBC, highlighting the power of innovation in philanthropy.

Collaboration with Business & Civic Institutions

Through these initiatives, I have learned the importance of partnership. Charitable and philanthropic projects succeed when businesses, community groups, and civic institutions work together. I bring this collaborative approach to my role as Alderman, ensuring that initiatives are not just symbolic but deliver measurable, positive outcomes.

Future Commitments

As a representative for Coleman Street Ward, I will actively champion charitable and philanthropic work, supporting initiatives that address local need and foster partnerships across the City. My goal is to ensure that the Ward’s businesses and residents contribute to, and benefit from, impactful social projects that enhance the community.
